Bruce
All in all - had a good 2 night stay. The room was silent, huge, it had central heating, multi-channel TV, and coffee/tea makers. The atmosphere created was comfortable. It was a good location for us, not far from taxi, and Metropol Parasol.

Magnificent and marvellous location close to Plaza Ponce de Leon. Really close to the maze of streets, and tha train station. Traditional building and rooms with comfortable decoration. A bathtub in the bathroom.

The location is magnificent, minutes from the train station. A 5-minute walk will take you to La papa que llevas, where you can eat. The room is quiet and essentials you need, including an electric kettle, air conditioning, and an electronic key card, is right there.

Arthur
The room is airy, silent comes with the fridge, a fantastic bed plus a bathtub. Many thanks to amicable and excellent staff for providing us with a fine stay.

Small rooms, but very clean and cool. Some noise from busy street and other residents. Good-sized bathroom, shower a little old fashioned, not enclosed. Helpful staff. Parking impossible, except in nearby underground car park, which is tight. Coffee machine available 24/7. Beautifully decorated, instantly felt comfortable and welcoming. Complimentary breakfast in bar located 2 blocks away. Lovely terrace on 3rd floor to escape afternoon heat. Friendly and helpful staff.

The hotel has lovely tilework and cast iron work throughout; the windows had shutters etc so everything looked vey authentic. My inital room had the dreaded drain problem common to older buildings in older cities but staff were very helpful and moved me as soon as a room became available.
The hotel had been nicely refurbished but not all bathrooms had their own window so relied on effective fan ventilation - not sufficent when all the electrics go off when visitors leave their rooms for the day and certainly my exhaustt fan did not appear to operate very effficently.

Extremely clean. Helpful and accomodating staff (let us use parking lot after check-out).
Many stairs (elevator not much help). No window facing outside(a little dark).

The hotel is centrally located, making it easy to explore the city on foot. It is just a short walk to the city center, convenient stores, and the railway station. The staff is friendly and helpful, providing maps and recommendations for places to visit and where to find the best tapas bars. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with a cozy bed and a fully equipped bathroom. The hotel also offers a nice roof terrace where guests can relax and enjoy the view.
The lift in the hotel is a bit creaky, but the staircase, adorned with beautiful tiles, is a charming alternative.
